Alysa Liu reveals if she will join Dancing With the Stars
Olympic figure skater Alysa Liu, who was the 2026 Winter Olympic champion in both women’s singles and the team event, has become an immensely popular figure in the media.
Recently, she appeared at Vanity Fair’s Oscar Party on Sunday in Los Angeles, where she spoke to Entertainment Tonight. When asked about the prospect of her joining Dancing with the Stars in the future, Liu said that she was not sure. She further added that if she were hypothetically asked now, she would turn down the offer.
“Has Dancing with the Stars called yet? Cuz I feel like you’d be great on that show,” ET’s Denny Directo asked Liu at the party. The 20-year-old athlete said, “Oh, I don’t know if I would do Dancing with the Stars.”
Directo further said, “You don’t think you would? I think you would crush it.” To this, Liu responded, “I love dancing, and I think I’m good at dancing, but I don’t know if I would do it.”
The interviewer asked her, “Okay. But if they call, what would you say?”
“No,” Liu responded. She further added with a laugh, “At least for now, that’s my answer.”
So, despite the fanfare surrounding her, the 20-year-old figure skater is not making her way to DWTS anytime soon, as per her recent interview. Later in the same interview, Liu talked about other things, too.
Alyssa Liu remains a popular figure around the globe, nonetheless.
