Next Assassination Classroom Anime Adaptation Is a Movie

Shueisha and Lerche announced Assassination Classroom the Movie: Everyone's Time, a new anime adaptation of the manga series that ran between 2012 and 2016. It will appear in theaters in Japan on March 20, 2026, and there’s no worldwide release announcement for it yet. However, Crunchyroll handled the original anime. This comes after a December 2024 announcement confirmed there would be 10th anniversary celebrations for the series. [Thanks, Crunchyroll!]

To go along with the film’s reveal, there is an official site, a first teaser trailer, and key art. The site confirmed this is a 10th anniversary project for the series. It also noted the first season will air on the Shonen Jump YouTube channel, with the first six episodes debuting on September 13, 2025, and there will be a physical 10th anniversary complete box set of both seasons released.

As for the key art, it shows Nagisa Shiota and Karma Akabane walking down a hallway with photos of Class 3-E moments on it. Koro-sensei looms ominously behind them.
