New TGS 2025 Square Enix Games Include Final Fantasy, Dragon Quest

Square Enix shared its official Tokyo Game Show 2025 plans going over the titles that will be present at its TGS 2025 booth between September 25-28, 2025, and we will see some JRPG representation. The official site listed eight games that will be there, both in English and Japanese. There will also be some special stage events and broadcasts shared online.

First, here’s the full list of all the Square Enix TGS 2025 games, which includes new JRPG entries like The Adventures of Elliot,  Dragon Quest I & II HD-2D Remake, and Octopath Traveler 0. The “already available” games that will be there are Dragon Quest X Online and FFXIV.

The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales - PS5, Switch 2, Xbox Series X, PC - 2026. Dragon Quest I & II HD-2D Remake - PS5, Switch, Switch 2, Xbox Series X, PC - October 30, 2025. Dragon Quest X Online - PS4, Switch, PC - Available in Japan. FFVII Remake Intergrade - Switch 2, Xbox Series X, PC - “This Winter.” FFXIV - PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X, PC - Available worldwide. Final Fantasy Tactics: The Ivalice Chronicles - PS4, PS5, Switch, Switch 2, Xbox Series X, PC - September 30, 2025. Killer Inn - PC - TBA. Octopath Traveler 0 - PS4, PS5, Switch, Switch 2, Xbox Series X, PC - December 4, 2025.

Demos will be available for The Adventures of Elliot, Dragon Quest I & II, Dragon Quest III, FFVII Remake, Final Fantasy Tactics, and Killer Inn. 

As for online broadcasts, those will appear September 25-28, 2025. The first is an Eiko Kano’s Critikano Hit TGS 2025 Special starting at 10pm JST on September 25, 2025. It will be pre-recorded. The two live streams on September 27, 2025 will be an Octopath Traveler 0 Special Broadcast and Dragon Quest I & II HD-2D Remake Special Stage Event with Eiko Kano’s Critikano Hit. The former will be at 1:30pm JST, while the later will air at 3:30pm JST. On September 28, 2025, there will be a pre-recorded Final Fantasy Trading Card Game presentation at 10am JST, a Dragon Quest X special at 11am JST, a Final Fantasy Tactics stage event at 1pm JST, and a FFXIV Special Stage event at 3pm JST.

TGS 2025 takes place between September 25-28, 2025, and the Square Enix booth includes new games, old games, and some JRPG releases from the company. Some other companies who already shared their plans for the event include Capcom and Bandai Namco.
