DC officially loses a Superman and wins a new Kryptonian hero in his place. The DC Universe's Man of Steel has retained his original moniker since the 1930s, and Kal El doesn't seem to be losing his Superman identity anytime soon. Meanwhile, other heroes around him experiment with different titles and different costumes. After all, nobody is as iconic as the Big Blue Boy Scout.
