In the early 2010s, a production that would become widely acclaimed came to life on small screens in the U.S., led by DCU’s Frank Grillo. Titled Kingdom, the series premiered on October 8, 2014, on the since-defunct Audience Network with Season 1 comprising ten episodes that ended on December 10, 2014. Seasons 2 and 3 also aired on the channel, with the show ultimately ending in 2017, after which it was added to several streamers in the U.S., including Disney+, Netflix, and Peacock. Less than ten years later, the gripping drama gets a new streaming home, but not where you’re thinking.
