While one of Netflix’s best psychological thriller shows was canceled after a mere eight episodes, this was secretly a good thing for the series as a whole. Some shows are cut short in their prime and their critical reputations suffer as a result, and nowhere is this more prevalent than the psychological thriller genre. After all, if classic movies like The Silence of the Lambs, Psycho, and Se7en have proven anything, it is that a psychological thriller is only as good as its ending.
