A critically acclaimed dark comedy that has been presented as a Netflix original for nearly a decade is about to be removed from the streamer's library for good. The show ran for two seasons from 2017 to 2019, which, incidentally, is the same window during which Netflix released its two seasons of Mindhunter. Both shows have developed strong cult followings over the years on the back of terrific reviews. Both shows are further linked by the fact that neither will return for a third season, according to their respective creators. David Fincher has said that Mindhunter simply wasn't as big a mainstream hit as it needed to be to warrant an expensive new installment, while the creator of the dark comedy, Charlie Covell, has said that there are no plans for another season.
