In a move to reduce costs and remain profitable, Fox went on a massive cancellation spree, with most of the shows they had licensed either ending or moving to other networks. And for those that survived, it wasn't for long as the network developed its own replacements. The Cleaning Lady was one of those that met an untimely end at the network despite having a sizable audience. But like Élodie Yung's main character, Thony De La Rosa, it's hard to take out The Cleaning Lady.
