Netflix's sci-fi catalog includes quite a few ambitious sci-fi shows. However, when it comes to being bold and wildly experimental, only a few seem to fit the bill. Some of the more mainstream offerings on the streaming service remain relatively straightforward and conventional. One sci-fi masterpiece, though, defies many storytelling rules and even refuses to have dialogue as a narrative device.
