Netflix’s ‘Naked Gun’ Replacement Breaks Onto Global Streaming Charts

While the Liam Neeson and Pamela Anderson-led The Naked Gun reboot has landed on streaming after a largely successful theatrical run, the movie is facing stiff competition from an unlikely challenger. The Indian film Inspector Zende, starring Manoj Bajpayee and Jim Sarbh, is climbing the Netflix viewership charts not only in its home country, but also worldwide. Pulling from a true story, Inspector Zendeis a spoof of the police genre, much like The Naked Gun. It follows the real-life police officer's manhunt for the infamous serial killer Charles Sobhraj, who has been named Carl Bhojraj in the film.
