Netflix’s 100% RT Video Game Anime Adaptation Quietly Paid Homage to This Kurosawa Classic

Akira Kurosawa remains one of the most influential creative forces in film, with his body of work inspiring countless films. George Lucas drew upon the structure of Kurosawa's The Hidden Fortress when developing Star Wars: Episode IV — A New Hope, and Spike Leeremade Kurosawa's High and Low into Highest 2 Lowestthis year.
