With over 1,000 episodes across the NCIS franchise, a new series is being added to its growing lineup. CBS casually dropped a major bombshell that Sam Hanna (LL Cool J) will be back to lead another NCIS spinoff, titled NCIS: New York. The series will see Hanna return to his hometown of New York City, where he'll partner with a roguish agent played by Scott Caan and help lead a new team as they're tasked with high-stakes missions to defend one of the most vital cities and ports in the world. LL Cool J and Caan worked together during an NCIS: Los Angeles and Hawaii Five-0 crossover, so there's already some rapport between the two actors. Their characters will surely butt heads considering Hanna's respect for the rules and Caan's mysterious character's "roguish" methods.
