The UK is set to have a bank holiday heatwave, which can only mean one thing: it’s time to dust off your barbecue.
The timeless tradition is even better when it doesn’t cost a fortune. So, what better than a massive meat deal to get all the mandatory eats?
What’s on offer?
Morrisons is bringing back its viral 2kg BBQ meat pack.
For £9.97 meat-lovers can purchase this bundle of 100% British meat, loaded with crowd-pleasers including six juicy burgers, eight pork sausages, four pork loin steaks, and four beef sizzle steaks.
The fan-favourite deal sparked a frenzy online when it first launched on the 30th April to the 3rd May, with @angewilson23 praising its ‘great value’ on Instagram.
On Instagram @jamdonughnutuk said ‘What a bargain! This is perfect for the bank holiday!’, while @cuppawithkara notes ‘What a fab price’.
Even if you’re not a fan of a garden BBQ, or the classic British weather moves plans indoors, this 2kg bundle is perfect for meal planning, batch cooking, and keeping a handy portion in the freezer.
As @iloveme1701 recommended, you can use the steak ‘chopped up and put in a slow cooker for a stew type meal’.
Designed to maximise your budget, this limited release will only be available in-store from Friday 22nd May until Monday 25th May, ideal for the long weekend in the garden.
But don’t worry if you miss the rush, because that is not the only thing Morrisons will be providing for BBQ enthusiasts.
Available in-store now the three for £10 mix-and-match deal is also available, offering over 100 products of meat and fish such as the Honey Chicken Breast Steaks (£4.50), Salt & Pepper Chilli Wings with Gochujang Sauce (£4.50), and Sweet Chilli Marinated King Prawns (£3.75).

And for veggies, the deal also includes Chilli Halloumi Skewers (£4.50).
It seems the supermarket may be trying to up its game after disappointing customer reviews in 2025.
Last year, Morrisons came in 9th favourite in a survey of more than 3,000 shoppers by consumer watchdog Which?.
Coming in at joint 9th alongside Asda, the supermarket recieved a customer score of 68%, meanwhile winner M&S got a score of 78%.
Morrisons received just three out of five stars for value for money, product range and availability, as well as the overall quality of their own-label and fresh products.
This viral deal could be an attempt to boost their reputation and climb the rankings. And, with shoppers continuing to look for ways to cut their grocery bills, this could be what seals the deal.
