Guy Ritchie's crime drama series MobLand features a talented cast headlined by some of Hollywood's biggest stars, which has elevated the explosive underworld action that Ritchie is famous for. MobLand began as a loose spinoff of the Showtime classic crime show Ray Donovan, with the intention of telling the backstory behind the family at the show's center. However, as the show was developed, it evolved into a standalone series, keeping the crime family elements but jettisoning the connection to the Showtime series; it moved from Showtime to Paramount+ in that time period as well, and its second season premieres soon.
