In the commercial, Dr. Evil introduces a new venture called “Menace Mobile,” which he proudly describes as featuring the most confusing pricing plans of all time. However, his scheme quickly unravels when those closest to him reveal they’ve already moved on to a simpler alternative.

Returning alongside Myers are several cast members from the Austin Powers films. Seth Green reprises his role as Scott Evil, Dr. Evil’s often-frustrated son, while Rob Lowe returns as Number Two. Mindy Sterling also appears once again as the loyal Frau Farbissina. Together, they turn the tables on Dr. Evil by explaining that they have switched to Verizon and its new “Simplicity Plan,” which removes activation and upgrade fees.

The campaign serves as part of Verizon’s broader marketing push. It arrives alongside another commercial featuring the cast of Yo Soy Betty, la Fea. While the advertisements target different audiences, both promote the same simplified wireless plan.

For Myers, reviving Dr. Evil in commercials has become somewhat of a recurring tradition. In 2022, he reunited with Green, Lowe, and Sterling for a General Motors advertisement that also featured the infamous villain.
