Green Bay Packers pass rusher Micah Parsons admitted he’s conflicted going into Sunday night’s high-profile game against his old team. The Packers (2-1) are going to the home of the Dallas Cowboys (1-2) at AT&T Stadium in Week 4. This has now added suspense to the matchup, as Dallas owner Jerry Jones traded Parsons to Green Bay a few days prior to the season opener, ending a months-long contract stalemate.

”It’s going to be painful,” Parsons said of possibly sacking his old quarterback, Dak Prescott. “That’s my guy. He was always like a good mentor for me, but you know how it is. He always told me if I ever faced him that it’ll be a great matchup, so I’m excited to see what Sunday brings.”

Parsons’ addition has strengthened Green Bay’s quest for the Super Bowl. The 26-year-old signed the largest contract ever for a non-quarterback, a four-year, $188 million deal with $136 million guaranteed.

Jones, on the other hand, made a remark on Parsons before the high voltage game, stating through the media, “I think the world of Micah … I might say I wish him well — except it’s obvious I don’t this weekend, in terms of Green Bay winning the ball game.” per Jon Machota of The Athletic.

He continued, “He’s going to make some plays no matter how you play him. But when I saw [other teams] play us well with Micah in the game, and it did happen, then obviously we’ll be looking to try to run those kinds of plays [against him].”

This is a developing story….
