The release of the miniseries, Marvel Zombies, on Disney+, an animated continuation of the What If...? episode, has rightfully generated considerable hype. The TV-MA rating and alternate universe setting allow the series to be far more bloody and cutthroat than typical Marvel properties, which feels like a breath of fresh air compared to the stale Marvel family-friendly formula that has underlined every other project apart from rare occasions such as Deadpool & Wolverine.
