The Marvel Zombies trailer takes MCU fans back to an alternate timeline where a virus has turned most of the planet’s population, including many of the Avengers, into undead, flesh-eating creatures. A group of survivors then has to join forces and find a way to stop the plague once and for all.

The official synopsis reads, “After the Avengers are overtaken by a zombie plague, a desperate group of survivors discover the key to bringing an end to the super-powered undead, racing across a dystopian landscape and risking life and limb to save their world.”

The voice cast of the series includes Awkwafina as Katy, David Harbour as Alexei Shostakov/Red Guardian, Simu Liu as Shang-Chi, Elizabeth Olsen as Wanda Maximoff/Scarlet Witch, Randall Park as Jimmy Woo, Florence Pugh as Yelena Belova, Hailee Steinfeld as Kate Bishop, Dominique Thorne as Riri Williams/Iron Heart, Iman Vellani as Kamala Khan/Ms. Marvel, Paul Rudd as Scott Lang/Ant-Man, Tessa Thompson as Valkyrie, Wyatt Russell as John Walker/U.S. Agent, and Todd Williams as Eric Brooks/Blade.

The series comes from showrunner and director Bryan Andrews. Danielle Costa and Carrie Wassenaar serve as producers on the project, while Andrews, Wells, Kevin Feige, Louis D’Esposito, Brad Winderbaum, and Dana Vasquez-Eberhardt serve as executive producers.

Marvel Television‘s Marvel Zombies will premiere on Disney+ on September 24, 2025, as part of Phase 6 of the MCU. The series will have four episodes in total.
