The great Patrick Stewart, best known for his roles in the Star Trek and Marvel universes, sadly passed away today at the age of 86. Stewart will be seen playing Professor X one final time later this year in Avengers: Doomsday, which is scheduled to be released in theaters on December 18. He's even appeared in several of the trailers that also feature Ian McKellen's Magneto. Marvel Studios has already paid tribute to the actor in a touching social media post, saying that he brought Charles Xavier to life with "extraordinary grace, intelligence, and humanity."
