Marvel’s Wolverine Shaping Up to Be PS5’s Biggest Blockbuster, Report Suggests

It looks like all the wait for Marvel’s Wolverine will be worth it when it finally launches on the PS5… whenever that may be. A reliable insider has revealed that the game is currently being playtested, and the lucky folks who’ve checked it out say that it’s “fantastic” so far.

This report comes from none other than trusted leaker Tom Henderson (thanks, ResetEra), who disclosed in a recent podcast that he’s been speaking to a few of Marvel’s Wolverine playtesters, and they’ve all shared positive impressions about the game thus far.

This doesn’t come as too much of a surprise because Wolverine PS5’s early alpha footage leaked years ago, and even in that state it looked pretty good. Insomniac Games is pretty good at nailing gameplay mechanics and atmosphere, so while we don’t know how the story will play out, it looks like fans will be in for a visual and gameplay treat.

Adding to that the long wait for Wolverine, we get the feeling that the game might just be PS5’s biggest blockbuster.

As for when we’ll finally see Wolverine, Henderson previously said that Sony is preparing to showcase the game very soon.
