Ever since it was officially confirmed that Marvel’s Wolverine and the Marvel’s Spider-Man games share a universe and continuity, it’s seemed fairly obvious that one will bleed over into the other and potentially feature a crossover of sorts at some point. Even so, Insomniac’s Marvel’s Spider-Man franchise has teetered on the thinnest strand of webbing imaginable when it comes to possible crossover cameos. Its open-world New York City is brimming with Marvel superhero Easter eggs, but it's never actually had a genuine superhero cameo (the closest we’ve gotten is a note from Wong).
