Marvel unveils a new Hulk who flips the dynamics between Bruce Banner and his rage-fueled gamma monster. Although the Hulk is born from both a unique mix of a military bomb test and Bruce Banner's childhood trauma, there's a permanently increasing number of gamma mutates in the Marvel Universe. Characters like Doc Samson, She-Hulk, the Leader, and Red Hulk unlocked their gamma transformations through different means, including thorough experimentation and blood transfusions. Since gamma radiation doesn't possess a uniform evolutionary blueprint, these characters largely escape the tragic dual-personality torment that makes Bruce Banner's life a living hell.
