Joseph Woll was forced to start back-to-back games.

The Toronto Maple Leafs‘ goaltender had to man the net against the Ottawa Senators after Anthony Stolarz was hurt in warmups.

Stolarz was injured after taking a shot from William Nylander to the throat pre-game and quickly left for the locker room.

He was transported to the hospital for precautionary imaging, and an update will be provided when available, the team announced.

Woll stopped 32 of 36 shots in Friday’s overtime loss to the Carolina Hurricanes and has started five of the previous six Leafs’ contests.

Stolarz has fallen into the back-up role recently with Woll getting hot. He last started on March 15 in a win over the Minnesota Wild.

The 32-year-old missed 33 games earlier this season with an upper-body injury.
