Managing PS5 Accessories Made Easier With New Sony Download

Sony is rolling out a new free download that enables PS5 players to manage their pricey accessories with ease. Called the PlayStation Link PC Driver, the software gives players better control over their audio experiences with Pulse Elite headset and Explore earbuds.

Not to be confused with PlayStation Accessories app, the PS Link PC driver only supports PlayStation Link accessories. The PS Accessories app is reserved for non-PS Link devices like DualSense controllers.

You can use the driver to update Pulse Elite and Explore as well as manage their audio settings. The PS Link USB adapter itself can also be updated with the new driver.

All of this means that you don’t need to use your PS5 for managing these accessories. This is particularly helpful for those who use their headsets or earbuds with both their console and PC.

Do note that the driver also allows players to switch between PS Link audio connection on PC and console.
