Reports of Luka Doncic being frustrated by his teammates ran rampant less than a week ago. According to NBA reporter Jeff Pagaduan, the Lakers star’s frustration “isn’t coming from a place of malice. Doncic simply wants to win, and he is very emotional in the way he carries himself, as has been the case throughout his career.” Up till that point, Team Slovenia had lost 6 of their 7 preparation games for EuroBasket 2025. Now, the team has also lost both of their first 2 main games. However, despite being in a worse situation than before, the Slovenian remains optimistic.
Luka Doncic participated in a presser after Team Slovenia’s 103-95 loss against Team France. He admitted his personal viewpoint about the team’s performance, stating that “Boys did a good job, everyone who stepped on the pitch gave their all. Like I said, France is a great team, unfortunately we lost, but now we have to learn something from this defeat. I know I lose my temper sometimes, but I try to help the team. I do it all out of good will, no one wants anything bad and I think we are getting better every day”.

Just like the previous games, Luka Doncic dominated on a personal level. Over the course of 34:55 minutes, he scored 39 points, 8 rebounds, and 9 assists. This effort helped Slovenia to tie with France at 83-83 with 4:00 left to go in the 4th quarter. However, after that, Team France collectively switched gears.
This is a developing story.
