Lisa Kudrow recently opened up about watching her iconic series, Friends, during a recent talk show appearance. The actress, best known as Phoebe from the renowned 90’s show, revealed that she was watching the series currently, but admitted that she was embarrassed to watch it in front of her husband.

The Primetime Emmy winner, who remains renowned as the cult favorite Phoebe Buffay from the beloved sitcom, spoke about it with Jimmy Kimmel.

When the host recently asked Lisa Kudrow on Jimmy Kimmel Live! if she minded still being referred to as Phoebe, she said she did not. She also admitted during the show that she is finally watching the entire seasons. of Friends. “I’m watching it now,” Kudrow said, “I’m on Season 8 or 9. When did Rachel give birth? I don’t know. I wait until my husband goes to sleep, because I’m too embarrassed.”

Kimmel then asked Kudrow why she was embarrassed to watch the series in front of her spouse, Michael Stern. Responding to the question, she said, “That I’m watching myself on TV every night!” The Comeback star added, “I’m not watching it for myself. I just like a sitcom before going to bed, and I ran out.”

Moreover, Kimmel asked if Kudrow sometimes felt like she was watching someone else when seeing Friends. “It does now,” she noted, “And everyone’s hilarious, and I’m laughing out loud.” The 62-year-old actress even revealed that in all these years, she had not watched the entire series. I didn’t remember what we were doing,” Lisa Kudrow recalled. “But we’re at the Gellers’ anniversary party and Joey and Phoebe are talking and Joey says, ‘This is the worst party. It took forever to get to the buffet line. I get up there and I slipped on a giant booger.’ And Phoebe had thrown an oyster on the floor. Just the thought that Joey thought a giant oyster was a booger that came out of someone’s nose. I started crying, I was laughing so hard. Tears! Then I had to text Matt [LeBlanc].”
