Decades after one of the most important characters in Star Wars lore was introduced and killed, he is making a long-awaited return. First appearing in 1999's Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace, the Jedi Master Qui-Gon Jinn, played by Liam Neeson, was tasked alongside his apprentice, Obi-Wan Kenobi, with protecting Padmé Amidala, the Queen of Naboo.
