Lewis Capaldi has announced his biggest ever tour, which includes major festival dates.

The Scottish singer, 28, revealed on Monday that he is set to go on tour across the UK and Ireland for some major shows in 2026.

Lewis Capaldi is currently on a 17-date arena tour, which sold out 200,000 tickets. This tour was his grand return to music after taking time away from performing.

Lewis took two years away from music in 2023 when he was left unable to sing while performing on the Glastonbury Pyramid stage due to his Tourette’s syndrome.

The tour kicked off in September at Sheffield Arena, with the singer taking on his first headline performance in two years and speaking to fans about how moved he was by the moment.

‘It’s quite overwhelming after all that time off, it genuinely means the world,’ he said.

‘I’m genuinely still humbled this is still a possibility for me,’ he said as reported by The I Paper.

Lewis took to social media after the gig to share: ‘First headline show since 2023, thank you all for making it so special Sheffield.’

The singer announced he’d be taking a break for a while in 2023. In a statement shared on Instagram, the Someone You Loved singer said: ‘Hello everyone. First of all, thank you to Glastonbury for having me, for singing along when I needed it and for all the amazing messages afterwards. It really does mean the world.’

The musician continued: ‘The fact that this probably won’t come as a surprise doesn’t make it any easier to write, but I’m very sorry to let you know I’m going to be taking a break from touring for the foreseeable future.’

Since stepping back, he has spoken about how he is trying to deal with his anxiety.

On The Zach Sang Show, he shared: ‘When they told me, I was like, “That makes so much sense,” he said. ‘It ebbs and flows… Unfortunately, there’s no clear and “here’s this thing we can do nothing about.” But now it’s about handling my general anxiety.’
