The Big Bang Theory is officially bringing Leonard back into the franchise after 6 years. Johnny Galecki was one of the only two characters who was already part of the sitcom during its infamous original The Big Bang Theory pilot, which was eventually reworked. Despite the changes, his and Sheldon's friendship remained the foundation of the comedy's subsequent 12-season run.
