Maria Sten's Frances Neagley wasn’t necessarily destined to become the center of her own television series when she first joined Alan Ritchson on Prime Video’s Reacher. The character certainly had plenty of history on the page, but television presented a very practical reason to bring her into Jack Reacher’s adventures more frequently: watching the big guy silently think for several minutes doesn’t exactly make riveting TV. When Sten began making the character her own, she completely changed the game.
