Kolchak: The Night Stalker Action Figure Get First Look | Exclusive

ComingSoon is debuting an exclusive look at one of the rewards for Wandering Planet Toys’ Kickstarter for its upcoming action figure based on Carl Kolchak, the main character of the 1974 TV show Kolchak: The Night Stalker.

The fan-favorite indie toy company is partnering with Monstrous to create the first-ever officially licensed figures of Kolchak and his notorious nemesis, the vampire Janos Skorzeny.

The Kolchak figure is available to support via a new Kickstarter from Wandering Planet Toys, and those looking to get the full collection can pick up the Blood-Splattered Kolchak versus The Night Stalker 1/12 scale two-figure pack, which includes a blood-splattered variant of Kolchak, as well as the figure of the vampire Janos Skorzeny (played by Barry Atwater in the series), capturing the moment the two face off in their final duel.

Originally premiering in 1974, Kolak: The Night Stalker follows the story of wire service reporter Carl Kolchak (played by Darren McGavin), who investigates mysterious crimes with unlikely causes. The series only aired 20 total episodes, but is often seen as a massive influence on the future of television. Chris Carter, the creator of The X-Files, cites the show as a massive inspiration for his own hit series, and in 2005, the series was briefly resurrected.
