A few days back, ESPN College GameDay host Kirk Hebstreit was all about teasing Week 11 College GameDay locations. Not just this. Herbstreit kept the college football fans on the edge, hinting that Patrick Mahomes could be the celebrity guest picker. Looks like the ESPN analyst is not done keeping the college football fans on high alert. This time, he came up with a sharp message only for the Tennessee Volunteers. Not just for now, for the next one century, he feels that no one other than Josh Heupel deserves to enjoy the head coaching throne in Knoxville.
From his Nonstop with Kirk & Joey podcast, he shared a clip on X on November 3. Herbstreit kept things sharp and straight, “I heard some nonsense from Tennessee fans about, ‘Josh Heupel’s gotta go! Ugh! Everybody’s gonna, whoever loses has gotta go.’ Man, bullshit! Have you thought about where Tennessee’s football program was before Josh Heupel got there? Off the field issues, drama…You should be just like, lock Josh Heupel and his staff down for a 100 years.”

This came when an insider reported that Tennessee is eyeing a $75 million strong replacement for Heupel and LSU trying to lure him away.
