The episode takes a turn when Apex captures the egg and attempts to escape. Titan X immediately chases after it, while Godzilla follows closely behind.

Titan X’s true goal in Monarch revealed

The latest episode of Monarch: Legacy of Monsters explains Titan X’s actions more clearly, showing that the creature is not attacking without reason. Its movement toward Northern Australia is related to a specific purpose, as it heads to a desert location where its egg is hidden.

The episode also confirms that Titan X is a mother. The nest is shown to have been built with the help of scarab-like creatures, which remain connected to the Titan. These creatures stay near the nest and are shown to be involved in protecting Titan X’s egg, with Titan X providing protection in return.

The situation changes when Lee Shaw, played by Kurt Russell, succeeds in bringing Godzilla to the same location. The two Titans then face each other, leading to one of the biggest clashes of the season. Amid the chaos, Apex takes advantage of the situation and escapes with Titan X’s egg.
