A House of Dynamite is set to debut on Netflix just over one month from today, and the film is already earning Oscar buzz for director Kathryn Bigelow. Bigelow’s new political thriller will land in select theaters on October 10, ahead of its global debut on Netflix on October 24, and early reports indicate that the streamer is going to heavily pursue the film for several Oscar categories. While not officially confirmed, it seems likely that Netflix will push for A House of Dynamite to be nominated for Best Picture, and Bigelow to receive a nomination for Best Director.
