What a year it’s been for Star Wars fans, who have already been treated to a pair of new projects hardly halfway through 2026. The first series from a Galaxy Far, Far Away to shatter records in 2026 was Maul — Shadow Lord, which is now the highest-rated Star Wars project in history. Not long after the Sam Witwer-led animated series came the return of Star Wars to the big screen with The Mandalorian and Grogu. Star Wars fans won’t have another seven-year wait between movies, though, as it’s already been confirmed that the next feature film arrives on May 28, 2027.
