Kate and Rooney Mara Open Up About Their Unprecedented First Movie Together

Oscar-nominated writer and director Werner Herzog returns to narrative filmmaking this year with Bucking Fastard, a drama about two lives inextricably intertwined, starring real-life sisters Kate Mara(Friendship)and Rooney Mara(Women Talking). The feature celebrated its Canadian premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival, where Collider’s Perri Nemiroff had the privilege of speaking with the cast about their work on the film, and in particular, the Rooney sisters' first-ever performances as scene partners.
