Jordan Peele’s New Movie Likely Delayed, Undated by Universal

The latest update on Jordan Peele’s new movie doesn’t seem like good news.

In 2024, it was announced that the fourth movie Peele is directing would be released on October 23, 2026, from Universal Pictures. There’s been little to no news about the project since then, as details remain heavily under wraps.

What is the update on Jordan Peele’s new movie?

The release date calendar on Universal Pictures’ website has now been updated and no longer lists Jordan Peele’s new movie anywhere. While there hasn’t been any official announcement from the studio or Peele about the movie, this likely means that the film is delayed and will be pushed back to another date.

Peele made his feature film directorial debut in 2017 with Get Out. That was followed by 2019’s Us and 2022’s Nope, while he also worked on the scripts for 2016’s Keanu, 2021’s Candyman, and 2022’s Wendell & Wild. He produced all those aforementioned movies in addition to 2018’s BlacKkKlansman and 2024’s Monkey Man.

Another movie produced by Peele, titled Him, arrives in United States theaters later this month on September 19. That project stars Marlon Wayans, Tyriq Withers, Julia Fox, Tim Heidecker, and more.

But as Cam’s training accelerates, Isaiah’s charisma begins to curdle into something darker, sending his protégé down a disorienting rabbit hole that may cost him more than he ever bargained for.”
