There’s another busy week ahead in Coronation Street next week as the fallout of recent events continues.

There is concern for Eva Price (Catherine Tyldesley) as news spreads that she was pushed down the stairs, and it’s clear that culprit Sam Blakeman (Jude Riordan) is feeling guilty.

Elsewhere, the investigation into Rachel Parkinson’s death continues and, following the revelation that she was her biological mother, Christina Boyd (Amy Robbins) is desperate for answers.

Meanwhile, Jodie Ramsey (Olivia Frances-Brown) has David Platt (Jack P Shepherd) in her sights as her scheming continues.

Monday, September 28

Sam is on edge after pushing Eva down the stairs, and things only get worse as news reaches Nick Tilsley (Ben Price) and Toyah Battersby (Georgia Taylor).

While waiting at the bus stop, watching the police car outside the Rovers warily, Sam is approached by his dad and Toyah and instantly senses their concern.

They reveal that Eva has had an accident and that they’re going to visit her in hospital. When Nick promises to help find Sam’s phone, Sam tells him it’s not important, and to focus on Eva.

Will Sam’s involvement in Eva’s accident stay secret, or will the truth come out?

Wednesday, September 30

Jodie’s scheming continues on Wednesday when she pretends to receive a text cancelling her date.

She puts on quite the performance, complete with fake tears, leaving David uncomfortable.

David offers to make her a cup of tea to commiserate, but when Jodie pulls out the bubbly and asks David to join her, he agrees.

What exactly does she have planned?

Thursday, October 1

Having witnessed Tim Metcalfe (Joe Duttine) sharing a serious conversation with Lisa Connor-Swain (Vicky Myers), Christina jumps at the opportunity to quiz him on Rachel’s murder case.

After talking business, Christina starts to ask about the investigation into Rachel’s murder.

Unfortunately, Tim isn’t forthcoming with information, and Christina fails to get any of the answers to her questions.

How far will she go to get what she wants?
