Audiences should be expecting the unexpected when walking into the theater to see Now You See Me 3.

Now You See Me: Now You Don’t is the third movie in Lionsgate’s popular Now You See Me franchise. Directed by Ruben Fleischer, the new film stars Jesse Eisenberg as J. Daniel “Danny” Atlas, Woody Harrelson as Merrit McKinney, Dave Franco as Jack Wilder, and Isla Fisher as Henley Reeves.

What did Jesse Eisenberg say about Now You See Me 3?

Speaking with Entertainment Weekly, Eisenberg teased that Now You See Me 3 will have a huge twist that will blow audiences’ minds.

“There is a genuinely brilliant, incredibly effective twist in the movie,” he said. ”I don’t want to give away anything, but the twist happens because of some really great acting. It will blow your mind. Apparently, people go nuts for the ending in test screenings, but I am like an idiot when it comes to plot.

Eisenberg further explained that he had to ask Fleischer to explain the twist to him because he didn’t understand it at first.

“God, audiences must be really, really sharp, or I am an idiot,” he continued. “I read the script three times, and I was totally wrong. People not only understand it but love it.”

He also teased some “surprise appearances” in the movie, saying, “These are not boring appearances. It’s the best kind of shock because it’s a surprise but also done in such an unusual way.”

The so-far confirmed cast of Now You See Me 3 further includes Morgan Freeman as Thaddeus Bradley, Justice Smith as Charlie, Dominic Sessa as Bosco, Ariana Greenblatt as June, and Rosamund Pike as Veronika Vanderberg.

Now You See Me: Now You Don’t hits United States theaters on November 14, 2025, from Lionsgate. The first two Now You See Me movies are currently available to watch on Netflix.
