Countdown wrapped its first season on Prime Video last week, and creator Derek Haas is already thinking about Season 2. The procedural follows a task force charged with preventing some of the biggest threats in the country and Los Angeles, and with that cliffhanger in the Season 1 finale, this team might need some help in the subsequent season. Haas already knows who he would like to call upon in Season 2, and it's Chicago P.D. alum Jesse Lee Soffer. Speaking in a new interview, Haas, who has been instrumental in Chicago P.D.'s success, said that he'd thought of the fan-favorite actor for a role in his latest show if it scores a second season renewal.
