One of Sony Pictures’ hit sex comedy movies starring Academy Award winner Jennifer Lawrence has officially found a brand new streaming home. Since its 2023 debut, the movie has maintained its high Popcornmeter score of 86% on Rotten Tomatoes.

What Jennifer Lawrence movie is now available on HBO Max?

As of today, Lawrence’s 2023 sex comedy film No Hard Feelings is finally available to stream on HBO Max. During its initial theatrical run, the movie grossed over $87 million at the box office against a reported budget of around $45 million. In the film, Lawrence played a bartender who was hired by a rich couple to date their inexperienced and socially awkward son before he went off to college. For her leading performance, The Hunger Games star earned a Golden Globe nomination for Best Actress.

“On the brink of losing her childhood home, Maddie discovers an intriguing job listing: wealthy helicopter parents looking for someone to ‘date’ their introverted 19-year-old son, Percy, before he leaves for college. To her surprise, Maddie soon discovers the awkward Percy is no sure thing,” reads the synopsis.

No Hard Feelings was directed by Gene Stupnitsky (Good Boys) from a screenplay he co-wrote with John Phillips. The ensemble cast also included Andrew Barth Feldman, Matthew Broderick, Natalie Morales, Laura Benanti, Kyle Mooney, Hasan Minhaj, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, Scott MacArthur, and more. Phillips also served as an executive producer alongside Kerry Orent. In addition to leading the cast, Lawrence was also a producer alongside Justine Ciarrocchi, Alex Saks, Naomi Odenkirk, and Marc Provissiero.
