Jackass 5 Best and Last Rotten Tomatoes Prediction RT Review Score[Image Credit: Paramount Pictures / YouTube]

The upcoming slapstick comedy Jackass: Best and Last, otherwise known as Jackass 5, has received a Rotten Tomatoes prediction that is suitably strong for the last film in the long-running franchise. As a follow-up to 2022’s Jackass Forever and Jackass 4.5, this MTV Entertainment Studios and Paramount Pictures movie will be a compilation of sorts, mixing never-before-seen footage from past Jackass shows and films with new daredevil stunts and pranks. Longtime cast members like Johnny Knoxville, Steve-O, Chris Pontius, and Jason “Wee Man” Acuña will be bringing back the best gags in this series finale. Jackass: Best and Last has a runtime of 92 minutes and is slated to release on June 26, 2026, in the United States.

Jackass 5 is predicted to get close to a ‘Certified Fresh’ Rotten Tomatoes rating

Jackass: Best and Last is predicted to get a Rotten Tomatoes score of 73%, based on a bet on Kalshi (as of June 16). A film needs to reach a RT rating of 75% to be given the site’s desired “Certified Fresh” status, so this prediction has the film getting close to achieving this. The full results of the best can be found below:

Above 45% (Rotten Tomatoes rating) – 97% chance Above 50% – 94% chance Above 55% – 86% chance Above 60% – 82% chance Above 65% – 77% chance Above 70% – 60% chance Above 75% – 46% chance Above 80% – 37% chance Above 85% – 27% chance Above 90% – 6% chance

As always, this Rotten Tomatoes forecast for Jackass 5 should be taken with a grain of salt, especially since the bet started only a day ago on June 15. Delving into the short history of the bet, it started off at a much lower 68% before spiking up to a 74% within minutes. Since then, it’s been consistently hovering between 73% and 75%.

As the film comes out within the next two weeks, there’s still time for this prediction to fluctuate. At the time of writing, it’s unclear what the review embargo date is for Jackass: Best and Last, but it’s typically placed three or so days before a movie’s theatrical release.

In comparison to other Jackass movies, this Rotten Tomatoes prediction for Jackass 5 is actually lower than the RT rating for Jackass Forever. The fourth mainline film in the series received a high 86% critics rating and an even higher 91% audience rating. (Meanwhile, Jackass 4.5 also received a high 80% critics rating.) On a better note, though, it’s higher than the 49% rating for 2002’s Jackass: The Move, the 66% rating for 2006’s Jackass: Number Two, and the 67% rating for 2010’s Jackass 3.

One of the reasons for this more middle-of-the-road prediction for Jackass: Best and Last could be that it’s being pitched as a nostalgic remix of old and new footage. It’s unknown how much of the film is based on past stunts, nor whether it will get a “Jackass 5.5” version that includes outtakes and deleted scenes. That said, the trailer for the movie only shows a brief flashback to the origins of the series before showing off much of the fresher material, with various cast members getting tackled by a football player, receiving a prostate exam by a robot, suffering the effects of a shock collar, and having to get through an “escape room from hell.”

A box office prediction for Jackass 5 has the nostalgic comedy earning somewhere between $15 million and $25 million in its domestic opening weekend from June 26 to June 28. This projection from BoxOfficeTheory has since been reduced to a range between $12 million and $19 million, likely due to the competition from the summer blockbusters Toy Story 5 and Supergirl.
