Fans of the BBC soap EastEnders have been left on tenterhooks in the aftermath of the Christmas Day murder in which Linda Carter brutally stabbed Keanu Taylor to his death.

Ever since The Six buried the body of Keanu under the floor of the cafe, the women have been on a downward spiral as they continue to be plagued by their problems.

With Keanu seemingly under the floorboards, alongside Denise Fox’s iconic D necklace, The Six are set to be in for a hell of a shock when the floor in the cafe begins to give way.

having just about managed to life herself from her slump, Denise is rocked to the core when Linda and Suki tell the women that the floor in the cafe has caved in.

Realising they need to act quick, Suki initially decides that she needs to work with Vinny in order to be all across his plans to repair and replace the damaged flooring.

However, she quickly realises that her over-the-top interest in the cafe floor will only raise more suspicion.

Fearing the worst, a deeply disturbed Denise begins to pack her bags in a bid to flee Walford.

Stacey soon stops her and convinces her it is a cruel idea and agrees to help retrieve the iconic D necklace on top of the body in return.

Having pinched Bernie’s cafe keys, they head on into the building but are quickly interrupted by someone they would rather not be.

Jack Branning turns up and demands answers as to just exactly what is going on.

What will the policeman, and Denise’s husband, opt to do next?

The week also marks the return of Sharon watts as she fiercely struts her way back onto the Square.

Speaking about how The Six feel to be ‘rumbled’ as soon as Sharon steps foot back on UK soil after her Australian break, actress Letitia Dean said: “It’s the unimaginable for all of them. Up until this point, they have managed to dodge every hurdle, some more successfully than others, but there is no escaping this one.”

When asked if she thought this was the end game for the women, Letitia quipped back: “Her first concern is Albie.

“Accepting what she believes is her inevitable fate, Sharon heads straight to Phil to make him promise to look after their son.

“He, of course, has no idea about her real motives, but she needs to make sure that if something were to happen to her, that their son would be safe.”

Earlier in the week, and before the revelation about the cafe floor, Sharon is horrified to learn that Johnny Carter (Charlie Suff), Linda’s son, knows about what really happened at Christmas.

Sharon calls a crisis meeting, terrified everything could be coming to a head for the Six.

Later on, Linda is shocked when she is unexpectedly presented with the meat thermometer and chaos ensues at The Vic.

However, the women are soon relieved to know the murder weapon has been found and Sharon agrees to dump it.
