Invincible Season 4 Mid-Credits Scenes Reveal [Spoiler] Is Pregnant & More

Invincible Season 4 Episodes 1, 2, and 3‘s post-credits scenes hint at major challenges for key characters. The episodes themselves waste no time in raising the stakes, showing Mark Grayson facing new challenges in his relationship with Atom Eve, his evolving moral code, and the looming threat of the Viltrum Empire, among other things. They also introduce new characters like Dinosaurus, Universa, and Thragg.

Invincible Season 4 Episode 1 and 3 have two huge post-credits scenes

The post-credits scene of Invincible Season 4 Episode 1 reveals that Conquest, kept in an underground prison bunker monitored by Cecil Stedman and Donald Ferguson, survived his brutal battle against Mark and Atom Eve at the end of Season 3. Mocking the fact that the hero left him alive, he breaks out and flies into space. Cecil, Donald, and the Global Defense Agency see this and express shock.

Meanwhile, the after-credits in Episode 2 follow up on this. Conquest reports to Viltrum Empire Grand Regent Thragg. Kneeling before him, he begs to be painfully executed for his failure to handle Mark and Eve. He stresses it would serve as an example to other Viltrumites to become stronger. However, Thragg refuses, saying he won’t reward failure and coldly tells his subordinate, “You have work to do yet.”

Finally, the post-credits scene of Invincible Season 4 Episode 3 begins with Mark waking up shocked, implying he experienced a nightmare of some sort. He heads to the bathroom, where Eve is, and tries to check on her. However, she locks the door and tells him she will join him soon. The scene cuts to Eve, revealing she is pregnant, having taken a pregnancy test, which turned out positive. While it brings a new element in her struggle to control her powers, it also teases the eventual introduction of her and Mark’s daughter from the comics, Terra Grayson.

The first three episodes of Invincible Season 4 are currently streaming on Amazon Prime Video. Robert Kirkman co-developed the series with Simon Racioppa, with both serving as showrunners.

Steven Yeun, Sandra Oh, and J.K. Simmons lead the series’ voice cast. The supporting members include Gillian Jacobs, Grey DeLisle, Walton Goggins, Chris Diamantopoulos, Ross Marquand, Melise, and Zachary Quinto, among others.
