Insomniac is expanding its presence in Seattle with two shows announced at Level 1, a brand-new venue from the minds behind Bumbershoot that puts music at the forefront.
The Pacific Northwest hasn’t been a stranger to Insomniac over the years, but the Southern California-based brand is looking to make its presence known even more in 2026. Joining their standalone experiences like Beyond Wonderland at The Gorge and Day Trip Seattle is a new series of shows in the city at Level 1 that will help its nightlife scene continue to grow.
Level 1 is a brand-new underground dance music venue located beneath Cannonball Arts Center in downtown Seattle. Formerly a Bed Bath & Beyond retail location, this 1,800-capacity space was developed in partnership with the longstanding festival brand Bumbershoot and offers an immersive experience for those who enter. Featured elements in the transformed venue include a custom House Under Magic sound system that’s powered by Danley Sound Labs and lighting installation from Maktive, giving it a cutting-edge feel.
The venue is also embracing the ongoing trend of having a phone-free dancefloor policy. The venue is encouraging attendees to unplug and enjoy the experience to the fullest by adhering to the policy and using their phones only in the lobby.
While Level 1 has already begun to host other events, including the In Praise of Shadows series, this month will see the venue kick into full gear with this new partnership with Insomniac. The first two shows to be announced in the upcoming series include Meduza on March 27 and Rebekah on May 8, with both artists slated to deliver a dose of techno to the underground venue.
Tickets for the Level 1 shows featuring Meduza and Rebekah are on sale now. Head to the official website to make your purchase and stay tuned for more shows to be announced in the coming weeks.
