Netflix wasted the most tragic arc from the original show in Avatar: The Last Airbender season 2. The biggest changes Netflix made to Avatar: The Last Airbender primarily concerned the original show's timeline. In order to condense the episodes that Netflix's Last Airbender didn't skip into only seven installments, things had to be shuffled around. For instance, the group arrives in Ba Sing Se by episode 3, something that didn't happen until episode 14 of the original show.
