What do we see in The Four Seasons Season 2 trailer?

Following the untimely passing of Nick (Steve Carell) in season one, the new season follows the group as it continues to celebrate his life with new vacations. The trailer doesn’t waste time in revealing two new potential additions to the group, as Nick’s wife, Ginny, reveals that she’s pregnant. Elsewhere, Danny (Domingo) also expresses his wishes of becoming a father to Claude (Marco Calvani), which may derail their relationship if the trailer is anything to go by.

“Danny is searching for meaning because life is feeling short,” said Fisher (via Tudum). “He and Claude have been able to live at 35 permanently for a long time.” The trailer also gives fans a glimpse of Claude’s family.

The trailer also gives us a glimpse at the new locales visited by the group, including a vacation in Italy. The creators have revealed that they found new ways to evolve relationships that wouldn’t have happened without Nick’s death. Season 2 will also see new additions to the group, including Steven Pasquale.

“Nick’s death allows for a new relationship between Ginny and Anne that wouldn’t have happened if he were alive,” said series co-creator Tracey Wigfield. “It was fun to find ways in which these dynamics wouldn’t have shifted if not for Nick’s dying. There’s a midlife crisis feeling, but it’s amplified.”

The first season of the show holds a respectable 78% on Rotten Tomatoes tomatometer, and was well received by viewers, totaling 24.4 million views (via Netflix). Tina Fey, Lang Fisher, and Tracey Wigfield return as showrunners for Season 2.

The Four Seasons Season 2 starts streaming on Netflix on Thursday, May 28, 2026.
