TOWIE’s Lauren issues skin cancer warning

Earlier today (September 25), ITV favourite Lauren revealed that she’d been in hospital for an op. Last night, she had shared a selfie revealing that she had “an early morning tomorrow” before uploading a snap today wearing in a surgical gown.

After having the procedure, Lauren uploaded a photo to her Instagram Story and detailed the process. However, she did issue a warning to any fans who might be squeamish.

Lauren said: “WARNING. Caution. Next slide skip if you don’t like cuts or blood or stitches.”

The next slide showed Lauren’s body under medical gauze, shortly after having the moles removed. She shared: “I’ve had three moles removed. This one was cut out and removed as it was deep rooted and it’s being sent off to the lab.”

The star then told her followers: “So important you check your moles. I’ve always been a sun worshipper but these changed in pregnancy. But all removed now.”

Lauren also revealed that she might need a follow-up op “soon” to remove “maybe a few more”. The star then shared that she has a tense wait to find out the results of the operation.

“Results and stitches out in two weeks,” she concluded.

Others stars who’ve had skin cancer – or scares

Lauren isn’t the first famous face to have moles remove or suffer a skin cancer scare.

Gordon Ramsay recently revealed that he’d had a patch of skin cancer removed from the side of his face.

Danielle Lloyd has also been open about having treatment for skin cancer.

Meanwhile, back in 202, Janet Street Porter underwent an op after doctors confirmed she had skin cancer on her nose.
