South Park maintained its razor-sharp satire leveled at Donald Trump and his administration in the latest episode. The show’s iteration of Trump tries to find a way to abort his baby with Satan. The episode also depicts its rendition of Brendan Carr, the Chairman of the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), as the unintended victim of Trump’s schemes against the Prince of Darkness.
Donald Trump Tries to Get Rid of His Baby in South Park’s New Episode
South Park Season 27 Episode 5, titled “Conflict of Interest,” continues to depict national and global events after putting them through its satirical lens.
Early in the episode, Kyle becomes agitated after learning that fellow students at South Park Elementary are betting on whether his mother, Sheila, a Jewish woman, will attack Gaza through a prediction markets app.
Meanwhile, in the White House, Satan and President Trump are expecting the birth of their child. However, soon enough, the latter begins attempts to abort the baby.
Ultimately, the two separate plot threads in White House and the eponymous fictional small town merge as Kyle calls the app’s strategic advisor, who turns out to be Donald Trump Jr., to stop the betting. He learns that the FCC is “dealing with all the offensive stuff now,” a not-too-subtle reference to Brendan Carr’s comments on Jimmy Kimmel after the latter made a controversial remark following the death of political commentator and podcaster Charlie Kirk. In the South Park episode, Carr finds himself at the receiving end of Trump’s abortion plans aimed at Satan. Among other things, he becomes ill with a parasitic disease called toxoplasmosis from cat feces and encounters the danger of losing his freedom of speech as a result.
Eventually, Sheila does go to Gaza, though she only commits verbal violence, launching a rant similar to Susie Greene (Susie Essman) from Curb Your Enthusiasm.
The fifth episode was delayed for a week after the series creators failed to meet the deadline. Meanwhile, Season 27 Episode 6 will air on October 15. (via South Park’s official X (formerly Twitter) handle)
