Glastonbury announce dates for 2027 festival and prize draw for first tickets

Glastonbury has announced the dates for its 2027 edition, and is giving away the first 25 tickets via a prize draw. Find all the details below.

This year’s edition of the Worthy Farm festival saw The 1975, Neil Young and Olivia Rodrigo headline the iconic Pyramid Stage. Other performances came from the likes of Charli XCX, Wolf Alice, Rod Stewart, Doechii and Kneecap.

Fans now have to wait until 2027 for another Glasto due to a fallow year in 2026. The event’s last planned break came in 2018, before being forced to cancel both its 2020 and 2021 editions due to COVID.

Today (September 25), organisers have confirmed that the next Glastonbury will take place between Wednesday June 23 and Sunday June 27, 2027.

The initial batch of ticket deposits is likely to go on sale in November 2026 – as has been the case in recent years – before customers are required to pay off the remaining balance the following April. A resale of any returned tickets will follow shortly afterwards.

However, Glasto is offering fans the chance to bag their place at the 2027 festival early via a charity prize draw. The competition is raising emergency funds to support the work of Médecins Sans Frontières/Doctors Without Borders (MSF UK), amid the current conflicts in Gaza and Sudan.

Those who enter could win one of 25 pairs of tickets to Glasto ’27 by donating to a Crowdfunder page – which has raised over £30,000 of its £100,000 target, at the time of writing. One entry costs £10.

“All funds raised in the prize draw (after payment processing fees) will support MSF’s vital work providing medical care to people affected by the current conflicts in Gaza and Sudan,” a listing reads.

“The prize draw follows a direct donation by Glastonbury Festival earlier this year, which was split between MSF’s work in Sudan and the Reconstructive Surgery Hospital in Amman, Jordan, which has provided life-changing care to thousands of people with complex, conflict-related injuries.”

Each year, Glastonbury Festival raises funds for its joint charity partners Oxfam, Greenpeace and WaterAid, as well as numerous other organisations and campaigns.

In 2024, the festival raised £1.2million through a ticket prize draw that went towards helping people affected by conflict. The previous year saw Glasto donate a record-breaking £3.7million to good causes following the 2023 edition.
